INSPIRE feature concepts

A point spatial object which is used for connectivity, and also may contain other spatial objects (not necessarily belonging to the same utility network).

UtilityNodeContainer

A vector spatial object defining an inferred or observable spatial extent of a resource that can be or has been used as a source of energy.

VectorEnergyResource

Statistical unit represented as a vector geometry (point, line or surface).

VectorStatisticalUnit

Surface that represents the part of a road which is used for the normal traffic of vehicles.

VehicleTrafficArea

Vertical level relative to other transport network elements.

VerticalPosition

Area of the Earth's surface where the elevation model is unknown because of missing input data. This area shall be excluded from a DEM.

VoidArea

Surface water on the landward side of a line, every point of which is at a distance of one nautical mile on the seaward side from the nearest point of the baseline from which the breadth of territorial waters is measured, extending where appropriate up to the outer limit of transitional waters.

A distinct volume of groundwater within an aquifer or aquifers.

A body of standing inland surface water.

A body of inland water flowing for the most part on the surface of the land but which may flow underground for part of its course.
